Cute! I do think that your diagrams off to the right could be better explained--what exactly is going on? )8 I can see that the fabric is flexible, but what is trickling through the holes in image #2? Is it rain? Dust?
I also think this could benefit from the cat not sliding off both sides of the page--just add a bit to each side and the top and you'll be okay! 8)
Yes! I agree. The idea is very cute, and the main picture is very clear, but I get confused when I try to make out what the small diagrams are showing. I also don't know what is passing through the holes in the second picture...but other than that great work!
haha this is really funny and cute. The Cat kind of looks uncomfortable, but I think it works and I love how you tried to clarify the idea even more by zooming in on the material and its function.I also like the way you handled your markings with the Sedulity of the cats fur to the spotted poncho.
haha! I love the cat's expression/pose! I understood the diagrams pretty well. I kind of think the shapes are simplistic enough that you don't need to enlarge them, but it wouldn't hurt.
haha I could definetly see this in some crazy magizine! I think you did a really good job on the cat, and the layout of the piece in general. I love all the little details you put in, including the diagrams. However, that being said, the diagrams are just a little confuseing. Just rework them a bit so your intents clearer. Otherwise, i absolutly love it.
oh yeah, also I couldent access my old blogspot account, so I had to create a new one, this is my new correct address: http://www.ellen-topitzer.blogspot.com/
Well drawn cat and I get the illustrations message instantly, The thing I'd change is maybe I get it a bit too quickly so maybe a background but besides that I think it accomplishes everything - Henry
SO AWESOME! Major points for cat. Is it useless because the holes would allow rain through the poncho, or just because it's for a cat? I'm only confused because some people mentioned sweat/dust..

this is so cute...
ReplyDeletei like her facial expression. it's just like she doesn't understand what is happening.
i think you shoud make two squares bigger because i cannot understand what's going on there.
maybe something is evaporating?
plus, it would be better if you make this begger because i feel little uncomfortable about cat's tail. it's almost touching edge.

ReplyDeletehilarity. the breathable cat poncho is tops, just make the side diagrams a bit larger and this would be damn near perfect.
ReplyDeleteawwwww
ReplyDeleteI like how you add zoom-in images. What is the dots leaking out of the holes? Is it cat sweat?

ReplyDeletei like the illustration's simplicity. maybe use rain drops instead of the speckles for the rain in order to communicate what it is more effectively
